As an independent Church we rely solely on the generous giving by our congregation. We’re so thankful for the generosity of those who give to the Church, providing the Church with the resources to do God's will in Flitwick and surrounding areas, and assisting us in supporting Christian work throughout the UK and the world.

Helping us to fulfill our mission statement: Flitwick Baptist Church exists to glorify God by making disciples who will reach the world for Christ in the power of the Spirit

The bible teaches us about giving and money is just one demonstration among others, but a very important one. Having the finances available means we can continue to bless the community generously and fund the many projects, events and courses we run or support as well as the normal day-to-day running of the church.

There are 3 ways to give:

1. Give regularly by Standing Order
Most of our income comes through monthly standing orders. This helps us budget and is a simple way for you to maintain your regular giving.

To set up a standing order to Flitwick Baptist Church, simply speak to one of the Elders or Deacons to obtain the correct details and forms for Gift Aid.

2. Give on a Sunday via the offering
You can give via cash or cheque during the Sunday services. If you’re a regular giver then you can use our envelope system to identify your gift. If you’re not a regular giver but would still like to identify your gift (to add gift aid) then grab an envelope from the front of the Church on your way in. The envelope has a section for your name and will also allow you to give your permission for us to claim Gift Aid where possible. Please make cheques payable to ‘Flitwick Baptist Church‘.

3. Give anonymously Regular or one off gifts via Stewardship

Giving may be made via Stewardship, a Christian charity which exists to make giving easy, inspire greater generosity, and strengthen Christian causes.  It works as follows:

A giver makes a donation to Stewardship either on-line or by completing a paper form and posting it to Stewardship
the giver marks the donations as anonymous
Stewardship claims the gift aid on the donation from HMRC
A 3% admin fee is deducted from the total
The net is passed on anonymously to FBC as a gift from Stewardship (so for every £100 donated, FBC receives £122)

Either one-off gifts or monthly giving may be set up via the link to Stewardship below, or by filling in the attached form and sending it direct to Stewardship per the details on the form.
