Sunday School

Sunday School - 10:15am (Term Time Only)

Beginners - 3 to 5yrs

Our beginners start learning about Jesus in a fun and practical way, with lots of singing, crafts and Bible stories.

Groups - 5 to 10yrs

Our older children all meet together for an introduction and quizzes before splitting into groups. Our teachers are all passionate about the Bible and try to pass this to the children in teaching and discussions. The children then all meet together again for a time of singing and fun.

We invite parents to join us at our morning family service commencing at 10am to enjoy a period of praise and worship with their children our service. The children join in with song and praise and then depart at around 10:15 for the Sunday School service and join the congregation at the end of the service for refreshments.

Don't worry if you cannot attend the morning service leaders will be present at the door to welcome children in at 10:15.

Home Groups

Home groups play a vital role in the life of Flitwick Baptist Church
Belonging to a home group means joining with a small group of people in a relaxed environment where thanksgiving, personal prayer requests, and discussion of the Bible take place regularly.
There is a growing number of home groups of about 8-12 people meeting on either Tuesday or Wednesday on the 2nd 3rd and 4th weeks of the month. There is plenty of scope to find a group that suits you.
They are the place where personal care is given and experienced, questions are encouraged and answers found, burdens can be shared and carried by others, and the power of infectious joy is seen as Jesus is met with in his power and love.
Home groups are not to be missed if you want to find out what being a Christian means in practice, and how to begin and grow in your relationship with Christ.
Please contact  Pastor Tim Diaper or Bob Cain using our Contact page if you would like to know more about our groups

The Ark

We are a group of Ladies who meet Monday’s between 10.00am and 12.00noon and you are free to come and go as you like.
We aim to love and encourage one another, to share our needs and most importantly to listen.
Before we start craft work we have a short bible reading and prayer.
Refreshments are available non-stop throughout the morning.
Please contact Diane Sharpe 01525 753488

Ladies Bible Study

Our Ladies Bible Study is held every Wednesday morning (during term time) from 9:45am until 11am. After this we have a time of refreshments and a time to relax with other Ladies from all ages and backgrounds. A creche is available for those with children who also want to join us.

Ladies Afternoon

We are a friendly group of Ladies who meet together on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays for a time of fellowship, usually followed by a cup of tea!

Every 1st Tuesday is a work party where we knit and sew blankets and baby vests for missions.

All our meetings commence at 2.15pm, any age welcome!

If you are interested in any of our groups or have any questions then please contact us, we would love to have you with us!

Mens Breakfast

On the first Saturday of the month we spend time in fellowship with one another, learning from God's word the Bible, and also enjoying breakfast - maybe just a bacon roll or sometimes, when we want to push the boat out, a full English.
Meetings are in the Lounge at the church, beginning at 9.00 and finishing by 10.00.
All meetings are very informal and open to all men of 16 or over. Children with parents are welcome.
